Position: Software Support Officer
Currently, FINCA Azerbaijan Non-Bank Credit Organization is looking for Software Support Officer.
What are the main duties of the Role?
- Provide functionality support for the CBS and other business applications;
- Perform initial analysis and classification of requests raised through corporate help-desk; Collaborate with reporting and technical teams in terms of identifying sufficient resolution for the issues raised;
- Escalation and reproduction of technical issues for the development team. Provide application-level expertise, bridging the gap between the user and Software developer staff.
- Analyze and classify new requirements raised by MIS users, address user requests (modifications to parameterization and settings, additions or changes to existing reports, etc.) to MIS Parameterization Committee for further processing;
- Responsible for maintaining solutions board by documenting following:
- Common questions by users with answers and clarifications;
- Advices, preventing user mistakes;
- Standard mistakes made by users with recommendations on resolution.
- user guides and other resources
- In coordination of Operations and Finance departments develop user acceptance test cases with respective expected results, when needed;
- Configure parameterization changes on CBS support environment;
- Under guidance by MIS Administrator perform testing of updates, confirm readiness for updating the production environment;
- Under guidance by MIS Administrator, release parameterization changes on CBS production environment.
- Maintain ongoing communications with end-users to determine areas where data entry and processing can be improved;
- Work to identify and develop “power users” within each department who can respond to routine functional and training issues.
- Provide recommendations to Training Department about updates and improvements needed to existing training manuals and user guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
Our humble expectations from candidate
Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a software support officer position is required;
- Sufficient knowledge of FLEXCUBE Retail functionality and parameterization settings is highly desirable;
- Good formal documentation skills is highly desirable.
- University degree and/or advanced certification in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- Fluency in Azeri language, and proficiency in written and spoken English and Russian;
- General proficiency in the use of information technology.
- IT background is preferred;
- Strong analytical skills, report writing skills, and communications skills
